How is it done?

Our clinics, where you leave your sample, are to be found in Umeå, Falun, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.

The Process at a Glance

  1. Complete the form
  2. Leave your sperm samples
  3. Blood and urine sampling
  4. Doctor’s appointments and conversations
  5. Donation begins

The first thing you need to do is to register your interest by completing the form. If you have any questions, please email us here or contact us on +46 (0)76-941 74 00 weekdays between 9am and 5pm.

The first time you visit us, you leave a sperm sample. You need to state name at the reception and have a valid ID. Then we will also ask you how long it has been since your last ejaculation (which should have occurred within no less than 48 hours and no more than 72 hours before you visit us).

Then you are given a jar for your sperm sample, and we show you to one of our «men’s rooms” where you deliver the sample. We will contact you at the latest within a week if the quality of your sperm meets our donor requirements.

After we have approved the sperm sample, we will contact you with more information before the blood and urine samples are taken, and provide you with a health declaration form to complete and return to us. Blood and urine samples can be taken at your nearest medical centre or you can also visit us during our regular opening hours.

We will contact you within two weeks, at the latest, with information concerning your results. If all results are approved, you will be given a doctor’s appointment and be invited to a discussion at the Livio clinic you have chosen to attend for your donation.

If you have any questions, you are welcome of course to ask us during your visit or to visit Ask us on the website, or give us a call on +46 (0)76-941 74 00.

We pay our donors an amount to cover expenses and lost time of SEK 580 per approved donation.
